I was surprised I was hungrier today, but not hungry enough to break my forward progress. Today I started a new regimen of food for the next three days:
Breakfast: I started out with juice: a bunch of chard and dandelion greens, 2 carrots, a third of a beet, and a wedge of green apple. It was surprisingly satisfying. But since juices digest so rapidly, I was hungry sooner than I would have liked.
Lunch: Made a quart of smoothie with spinach, lemon, frozen berries, sprouted flax and protein powder.
Dinner: The second half of the quart of smoothie from lunch.
Tomato-Cucumber Salad: Same as yesterday, had a cup ready for tonight’s dinner, marinated in the spices and the apple cider vinegar for 24 hours. Sometimes things taste better when the flavors have had a chance to meld.
Result: Hungry but had water and pressed on.
